Shamokin fire escalates to 3+ alarms
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – Minutes after 10:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5, Northumberland County 9-1-1 dispatched the Shamokin Fire Bureau to the area of Shamokin and Sunbury Streets for a possible dwelling fire. The incident was upgraded to a working fire in seconds and upgraded to the second alarm after a few minutes. The fire grew to three alarms plus special calls into the scene and crews operated well into the morning. Check back with Fire & Film this afternoon for additional information and video! Ashland garage goes two bells
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 12:48 AM on Wednesday, August 1, the Ashland Fire Department was dispatched to 16 North 12th Street in their borough for a reported garage fire. Mt. Carmel Truck 2 (Northumberland County) was also on the first alarm. Ashland Police Unit 42 was the first responder on scene and found heavy fire from a garage in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – After 2:30AM on Monday, July 30, the Mahanoy City Fire Department was dispatched with Altamont RIT and Frackville Ladder 4320 to the area of North Main and East Raildroad Streets for the reported house fire. Chief 455 (Macleary) went responding and was advised the caller stated there was fire on the roof of a house behind the M&T Bank. LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Fire & Film caught a job while traveling through Lehigh County yesterday. The fire was reported around 4:30 PM on Wednesday, July 25. Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 30 (Lower Macungie), 25 (Trexlertown) and 66 (Macungie EMS) to 1915 Aster Road in Lower Macungie Township for a dwelling fire. Shenandoah fire claims life, escalates to over three alarms
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 9:30 PM on Saturday, July 7, the Shenandoah Fire Department was dispatched to 220 West Columbus Street in the borough for a reported fully involved house fire. Frackville Ladder 43-20, Nuremberg Ladder 581, Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Shenandoah ALS were also on the first alarm. Initial responding crews were advised of a working fire reported to be fully involved endangering exposures. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 1:00 AM on Friday, July 6, the Shenandoah Fire Department was dispatched to the area of West Penn and North Chestnut Streets for the report of a possible house fire. Frackville Ladder 43-20, Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 and Nuremberg Ladder 581 were also on the first alarm with Shenandoah EMS. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Monday, July 2, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Mahanoy City Fire Department to 439 East South Street for a reported garage fire. The first alarm assignment also included Frackville Ladder 43-20, Altamont for the Rapid Intervention Team and Mahanoy City EMS. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 7:33 PM on Wednesday, June 20, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Mahanoy City Fire Department, Frackville Ladder 43-20 and Altamont fire company for their RIT to 24 West Spruce Street in Mahanoy City for a reported house fire. MAYDAY declared at four alarm fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – After 6:00 PM on Thursday, May 31, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 sent the Schuylkill Haven Fire Department to 20 West Main Street in their borough for a reported commercial structure fire. The fire was reported to be at Schuylkill Gun Works, a local firearms retailer. First arriving crews found heavy fire showing from the rear of the gun shop which was located in the middle of a row in the downtown business district. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – After 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (William Penn, Shenandoah Heights and Altamont) as well as Squrt 745 from Shenandoah to 529 Mount Olive Boulevard in the Lost Creek section of the township for a dwelling fire.
