2 alarms in Lehigh County
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Fire & Film caught a job while traveling through Lehigh County yesterday. The fire was reported around 4:30 PM on Wednesday, July 25. Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 30 (Lower Macungie), 25 (Trexlertown) and 66 (Macungie EMS) to 1915 Aster Road in Lower Macungie Township for a dwelling fire. Initial reports were of a fire from a fan on the roof. Chief 30-01 arrived on the scene and reported a working fire with smoke showing from the second and third floor of a middle of row townhouse. Lower Macungie accident injures two
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 15, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 66 (Macungie EMS) to Route 222 and Kressler Road in Lower Macungie Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6682 responded and was advised that multiple calls were received reporting a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection with at least two people injured. Cetronia Medic 6291 arrived on the scene shortly after and reported a multiple vehicle accident with one vehicle in a gulley with multiple walking wounded. EMS Command was established. Rollover causes large oil spill
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – A tractor trailer trying to merge onto Interstate 78 in Upper Macungie Township lost control and flipped onto its side in the early morning hours of Friday, July 29. The trailer was carrying over 7,000 gallons of used motor oil. As the truck careened out of control, it struck the median ripping open the tank and allowed the contents to flow freely.
