LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 4:30 PM on Wednesday, August 17 Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched units to the intersection of Golden Key Road and Schochary Road in Lynn Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.  Stations 17 (New Tripoli) and 71 (Northwestern EMS) were dispatched. Three injured on Cedar Crest Blvd

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – After 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 7, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 11 (Greenwalds) and 62 (Cetronia) to Orefield Road and Cedar Crest Boulevard for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Allen firefighters find garage well off

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PA – Just before 6 PM on Tuesday, June 21, Northampton County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire Stations 45 (Allen Township) and 46 (East Allen Township) to the area of Howertown Road and Nor-Bath Boulevard in Allen Township for a garage fire. Warehouse fire goes two alarms

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PA – Firefighters from Nancy Run (Station 14) and Bethlehem Township (Station 17) were dispatched with Bethlehem Township EMS at 7:20 PM on Wednesday, June 01, to 2600 Brodhead Road in Bethlehem Township for a commercial structure fire.  The dispatch had given a report of a possible fork lift fire in a warehouse.   Moments after the initial dispatch, Northampton County 9-1-1 alerted responders that police were reporting smoke showing from the Nazareth Pike, approximately a mile away.   Chief 1751 went responding with a short response time and reported heavy smoke showing.  Northampton 9-1-1 relayed to the … Continue reading

Six injured in North Whitehall MVA

  LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Six people were transported to local hospitals following a motor vehicle accident Thursday evening.   Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 26 (Tri-Clover) and EMS 67 (Northern Valley) for two units just after 6:30 PM on May 26 to the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Cedar Crest Boulevard in North Whitehall Township.   Chief 2601 (Johnson) went responding and was advised of a two vehicle accident with up to eight people injured.  Fire Police Captain 2609 arrived on scene shortly after and stated he had a patient with facial lacerations.   Medic 6791 arrived on … Continue reading

Crews search Lehigh River for missing woman

  LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Rescuers from multiple fire companies worked together to search for a missing woman along the Lehigh River in North Whitehall Township.  At 8:25 PM on Wednesday, May 26, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 12 (Laurys Station), 22 (Schnecksville), 67 (Northern Valley EMS), North Whitehall Rescue and  Northampton County Station 47 (Lehigh Township) to the Treichlers Bridge on Route 145 for a swift water rescue.   Engine 1211 was the first unit responding and was advised they were going to be looking for a female in her 50s who was last seen in a blue canoe … Continue reading

Crews respond to barn fire

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Firefighters from Carbon and Schuylkill Counties responded to reports of a barn fire Sunday afternoon. Crews were dispatched to the intersection of Blue Mountain Drive and Fort Franklin Road in West Penn Twp., Schuylkill County. Responding units were advised of a caller reporting hay on fire within the barn. First arriving officers found a barn with smoke showing. The ladder and an additional engine from Tamaqua were requested. A tanker fill site was established on SR 309 just south of the SR 895 intersection. Fire destroys Hanover Twp. garage

NORTHAMTPON COUNTY, PA – Just before 7PM on Sunday, March 27, Northampton County 911 dispatched Fire and EMS 15 (Hanover Twp.) to 3930 Post Drive in Hanover Twp. for a reported garage fire attached to a dwelling. Captain 1554 went responding and advised he had smoke in the area. Chief 1551 was advised on the conditions and requested an engine from Fire 53 (Hecktown). 1554 arrived on the scene, confirmed a worker and established Fire 15 Command.
