One injured in Brandonville rollover

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 8:34 AM on Tuesday, April 24, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 advised East Union Township PD Unit 68 to check the area of State Route 924 a mile from Brandonville for a reported motor vehicle accident with rollover.  The fire assignment was then sent out which included Sheppton-Oneida Fire, Brandonville Fire and Shenandoah ALS.

Sheppton Engine-Rescue 9-10 responded and was advised the accident would be located at 924 and Pumping Station Road with one vehicle overturned.  9-10 arrived on the scene to find a passenger vehicle on its roof against a pole with one female walking wounded.

The engine crew initiated patient care and controlled hazards on the vehicle until Medic 6401 arrived on the scene.  The patient was then moved into the ambulance and transported to a local hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Brandonville Engine 9-14 eventually went responding and was requested to respond non-emergency.  Moments later the towing company arrived and fire services were released by PD.  9-10 was placed available along with all District 9 units.
