Allen firefighters find garage well off

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PA – Just before 6 PM on Tuesday, June 21, Northampton County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire Stations 45 (Allen Township) and 46 (East Allen Township) to the area of Howertown Road and Nor-Bath Boulevard in Allen Township for a garage fire. First responding units were advised of a reported fire in a garage in the area.  A working fire was announced as crews were approaching the area and spotted a header.   Crews arrived to find a garage attached to a house with fire through the roof.  Stations 42 (Northampton) and 47 (Lehigh Township) were added to the assignment. … Continue reading

SWT rescues one with serious injuries

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Firefighters and rescue workers were summoned to the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Overlook Road for a motor vehicle accident with rescue around 6:45 AM on Monday, June 20.  South Whitehall Township Stations 32 (Woodlawn) and 62 (Cetronia EMS) were dispatched along with Rescue 1141 (Greenwalds). Car crashes into Muhlenberg home, neighborhood evacuated

BERKS COUNTY, PA – Firefighters and rescue personnel had their hands full on Friday, June 10.  Responders were dispatched around 2:45 PM to the intersection of Kutztown Road and Florin Avenue in Muhlenberg Township for a motor vehicle accident with a car into a house.  Companies 10 (Goodwill) and 560 (Muhlenberg EMS) with Rescue 10 (Temple) were on the original dispatch. Camden, NJ fire hits 12 alarms

CAMDEN, NJ – Firefighters from the City of Camden along with multiple departments throughout New Jersey gathered in the extreme heat to battle a warehouse fire that spread to multiple houses and other buildings. Firefighters were called to Chestnut Street and Orchard Street around 4:15 PM for an abandoned tire factory on fire.  The fire quickly escalated to three alarms with heavy fire through the roof. Warehouse fire goes two alarms

NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, PA – Firefighters from Nancy Run (Station 14) and Bethlehem Township (Station 17) were dispatched with Bethlehem Township EMS at 7:20 PM on Wednesday, June 01, to 2600 Brodhead Road in Bethlehem Township for a commercial structure fire.  The dispatch had given a report of a possible fork lift fire in a warehouse.   Moments after the initial dispatch, Northampton County 9-1-1 alerted responders that police were reporting smoke showing from the Nazareth Pike, approximately a mile away.   Chief 1751 went responding with a short response time and reported heavy smoke showing.  Northampton 9-1-1 relayed to the … Continue reading
