SUV snaps pole in Black Creek
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 9:00 AM on Sunday, April 7, Nuremberg Fire & EMS were dispatched to the Tomhicken Road in the area of Pine Street in Black Creek Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engine 582 with Chief 581 responded as well as Ambulance 980. Units arrived on scene to find a SUV on its side in the woods. The vehicle appeared to have traveled off the roadway, through a ditch and then went airborne. Car crashes into car then house in Gilberton
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 6:00PM on Saturday, December 8, the Gilberton Fire Department was dispatched with Frackville BLS and Shenandoah ALS to Main Street in the area of the Continental Fire Company for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engines 44-10 and 44-15 arrived on scene with EMS to find a two vehicle accident in a parking lot with one of the vehicles into a house. All occupants were out of the vehicle upon arrival. Deadly accident shuts down Route 61
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 12:30 PM on Wednesday, November 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 4 (Fountain Springs and Lavelle), Ashland Rescue 38-50, Ashland EMS and Shenandoah ALS to 770 Fountain Street in Butler Township for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. First responding units were advised of an accident involving a car under a porch and a person pinned underneath a mail delivery truck. Car hits bridge in Union Twp.
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 9:15 AM on Wednesday, November 14, Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue was dispatched with Ringtown EMS to Zion Grove Road and Ferndale Road in Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injury. Shenandoah ALS was added to the assignment after reports of possible entrapment and an unconscious patient. Aristes Captain 352 arrived on the scene shortly after dispatch and found a single vehicle that struck a bridge and was sitting in the middle of the roadway. SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 11 AM on Tuesday, November 13, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Mahanoy City Fire Department (West End and Humane) with Mahanoy City EMS and Shenandoah ALS to 1210 West Centre Street in Mahanoy Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Car rolls over in “The Patch”
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – On Wednesday, November 7, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched William Penn Fire and Lost Creek EMS to Mount Olive Boulevard in Lost Creek for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle rolled over in the roadway. All occupants were out of the vehicle and refused any treatment from EMS. LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 7:30 PM on Tuesday, October 16, APTS Medic 11D was responding to an EMS call when it came upon a motor vehicle accident at State Route 924 and Interstate 81 in Hazle Township. Medic 11D was reporting a tractor trailer had broad-sided a pickup truck in the intersection. Hazle Twp.
