St. Clair storage facility catches fire

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 5:30 AM on Sunday, October 27, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched fire units to the Port Carbon Saint Clair Highway and South Mill Street in East Norwegian Township for a reported structure fire at the St. Clair Self Storage.  The initial alarm included the East Norwegian Twp. Fire Department, St. Clair Engine 702 (Alert/Columbia), Port Carbon Engine 59-11 and Pottsville City Engines 41 and 62 and Ladder 21. Car flips, second car slams into wreckage

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 5:15 AM on Saturday, October 12, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 9 (Sheppton-Oneida Fire) to Shenandoah Mountain Road and Mahanoy City Mountain Road in East Union Township for a motor vehicle accident. Engine 09-10 and Squad 09-70 arrived on the scene to find one vehicle rolled over in the middle of Route 924.  Prior to the fire department’s arrival a second vehicle traveling on 924 smashed into the overturned vehicle. West Hazleton house fully involved (pre-arrival video)

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 7:00 PM on Thursday, October 10, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched West Hazleton, Hazleton City and Hazle Twp. Fire Departments with West Hazleton EMS and APTS Medic 11 to 325 Anchor Street in West Hazleton for a reported residential structure fire.  County advised on the dispatch of multiple calls reporting a fire. Machine burns in Hazle Twp. factory

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – After 4:30 AM Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Twp. Fire & Rescue along with Harwood Fire and APTS Medic 11 to 1111 North Park Drive in the Humboldt Industrial Park for a commercial structure fire.  Sheppton-Oneida Engine 9-10 was also dispatched out of Schuylkill County. First responding units were advised of a piece of machinery on fire within the factory that manufactures and packages dog food.  Medic 11 arrived on the scene and confirmed a smoke condition at the B/C corner of the building.  Hazle Twp.
