Helmet cam footage: garage fire in Ringtown

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Just before midnight on August 1, Schuylkill County dispatched the first alarm to 22 South 4th Street in Ringtown for a garage fire. District 30 (Ringtown Valley), District 9 (Sheppton-Oneida), Shenandoah for Engine 742 and Squrt 745, Nuremberg-Weston, Mahanoy City West End for the rescue, Ringtown BLS and Shenandoah ALS were due on the alarm.

First arriving units found heavy fire showing from a large garage. Engine 30-10 and 30-11 took the A/B corner while Aristes Engine 353 secured a hydrant on Main Street and supplied the engine.  Squrt 745 positioned at the A/D corner and stretched multiple lines.  The bulk of the fire was knocked down within thirty minutes but crews remained on scene till the early morning.
