Jeep crashes on Nuremberg Mountain

SCHUYLILL COUNTY, PA – At 4:10 PM on Sunday, February 10, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg Fire and EMS with Shenandoah ALS to 573 Mountain Road in North Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Medic 6402 called responding and was advised of a single vehicle accident involving a Jeep that had rolled multiple times with a female laying along the road complaining of neck pain.

Engine 582 and Chief 581 arrived on the scene to find a Jeep partially off the roadway with minimal damage.  The Chief also advised the incident was going to be located in East Union Township, not North Union.

Ambulance 971 arrived on scene and packaged the patient for transport while Engine 583 staged South of the incident and provided traffic control.

Fire crews remained on scene until the arrival of State Police.  The patient was transported to a local trauma center with what appeared to be minor injuries.
