Mt. Carmel fire hits fourth alarm

NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – On Wednesday, November 14, the Mount Carmel fire department was dispatched to East Second street for a report of a dwelling fire.  First arriving units found smoke pushing from four homes.  A second alarm was immediately dispatched as crews began to attack the fire.  The fire continued to progress and eventually a fourth alarm was struck bringing in multiple units from various counties.
