Buffet House destroyed in Saturday night blaze
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – A basement fire destroyed a business on Route 61 south of Pottsville on Saturday, November 26. While crews were still operating at the textile fire in Cressona, the box was sent to the Buffet House Chinese restaurant on Route 61 for a reported commercial fire. Crews arrived to find a working basement fire. An interior attack was initiated but all members were ordered to evacuate within 30 minutes due to worsening conditions on the first floor. Commercial building burns to ground in Cressona
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – A fire broke out at a textile facility in Cressona around 6:30 PM on Saturday, November 26. Arriving crews found heavy fire showing from the building. Multiple hand lines and master streams were immediately put into service. Command requested a tanker task force to supplement the water supply. An additional ladder was called into the scene for an extra elevated master stream. The fire eventually led to the entire building collapsing. Click here to view the entire photo gallery

Man falls into hole, seriously injured
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before noon on Tuesday, November 8, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Shenandoah ALS to 215 West New York Street in Shenandoah for a traumatic injury. Moments later, the rescue assignment was dispatched to assist with extrication. The assignment included the Shenandoah Fire Department and West End Rescue 993 from Mahanoy City. Medic 6403 went responding and was advised of a male in his sixties who feel into a hole in a garage on New York Street. Car flies through air, one trapped
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – At 17:24 on Thursday, November 3, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 16 (Neffs) and EMS Station 67 (Northern Valley) with North Whitehall Rescue 2241 to 5970 Glencrest Road in Washington Township for a motor vehicle accident with rescue. Chief 2202 went responding and was advised that a caller stated a car traveled off the road and into the basement of a burnt out barn.
