LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 5:30 AM on Thursday, November 3, Luzerne County 9-1-1 dispatched Hazle Twp. Fire & Rescue and Valley Regional Medic 26 to State Route 924 in the area of the Fuel On Truck Stop in the Humboldt section of Hazle Township for a motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Mahanoy Area mock DUI accident

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Two cars collide, multiple teenagers are trapped in the vehicles, one teenager is thrown from the back seat through the windshield – she is dead on the hood.  A distraught mother rushes into the scene as first responders arrive.  The police arrest the driver of one vehicle, he was driving while impaired and more than likely created this disaster.  The poor decision of one person just affected dozens, if not hundreds of lives. Minor injury in West Mahanoy crash

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 11:15 PM on Thursday, May 5, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Altamont Fire Company and the Friendship Fire Company of Englewood to the area of 102 Morea Road in West Mahanoy Township for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Engine 367 arrived on the scene to find one vehicle versus a tree with one occupant self-extricated.  The engine crew checked on injuries and secured hazards while shutting down the roadway.  Engine 369 was directed to the area of the Altamont Station to shut down the roadway. LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 9:00 AM on Sunday, April 7, Nuremberg Fire & EMS were dispatched to the Tomhicken Road in the area of Pine Street in Black Creek Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engine 582 with Chief 581 responded as well as Ambulance 980. Units arrived on scene to find a SUV on its side in the woods. The vehicle appeared to have traveled off the roadway, through a ditch and then went airborne. Car crashes into car then house in Gilberton

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 6:00PM on Saturday, December 8, the Gilberton Fire Department was dispatched with Frackville BLS and Shenandoah ALS to Main Street in the area of the Continental Fire Company for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Engines 44-10 and 44-15 arrived on scene with EMS to find a two vehicle accident in a parking lot with one of the vehicles into a house.  All occupants were out of the vehicle upon arrival.  All patients were assessed by EMS personnel with minor injuries. Mahanoy City motorcycle accident

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 11:48 AM on Saturday, October 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Mahanoy City EMS, Shenandoah ALS, Humane Fire (Mahanoy City) and West End Rescue (Mahanoy City) to 350 Brandonville Road, Mahanoy Township, for a motor vehicle accident with injury. Engine 451 responded and was advised of a motorcycle accident with one female injured. Ambulance 4803 and Medic 64 were also advised of the additional and requested aeromedical be placed on standby. Columbia frees one from van in Shenandoah

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 3:30PM on Sunday, December 4, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Shenandoah Fire and EMS to the area of Redner’s Market on the Gold Star Highway for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6404 responded and was advised of a multiple vehicle accident with injuries.  There was no additional information on injuries and everyone was reported to be out of the vehicles.  Engine 751 and Squirt 745 responded as well.  Shenandoah Police were also advised that callers were reporting one of the involved parties fled the scene through the parking lot of the shopping center. LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Just after noon on Monday, August 22, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 22 (Schnecksville) and Station 67 (NOVA EMS) to the intersection of PA Route 309 and Clauss Road in North Whitehall Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 4:30 PM on Wednesday, August 17 Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched units to the intersection of Golden Key Road and Schochary Road in Lynn Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries.  Stations 17 (New Tripoli) and 71 (Northwestern EMS) were dispatched. Six injured in North Whitehall MVA

  LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Six people were transported to local hospitals following a motor vehicle accident Thursday evening.   Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 26 (Tri-Clover) and EMS 67 (Northern Valley) for two units just after 6:30 PM on May 26 to the intersection of Mauch Chunk Road and Cedar Crest Boulevard in North Whitehall Township.   Chief 2601 (Johnson) went responding and was advised of a two vehicle accident with up to eight people injured.  Fire Police Captain 2609 arrived on scene shortly after and stated he had a patient with facial lacerations.   Medic 6791 arrived on … Continue reading →
