Firefighter flown from scene of Hazleton fire
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, Hazleton City Fire and APTS Medic 11 was dispatched to 411 Kiefer Avenue in the city for a reported house on fire. First arriving units found heavy smoke filling the street. Chief 2 arrived and assumed command of the incident. Engine 3 pulled past the residence so Ladder 1 could take the address. Engine 2 performed a reverse lay from Engine 3 and secured a water supply from a hydrant at Kiefer and Mill. Pipeline 4 positioned behind the Ladder. Fire rips through Coal Twp. home
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – At 8:26 AM on Monday, March 18, 2013 Northumberland County Communications sent out the 150 Box to 516 Webster Street in Coal Township for a dwelling fire. The fire was to be located in the Village of Ranshaw within the Township. Brady Engine 151 was first on the scene and took the A/B corner of a duplex and found a working fire. Girardville home catches fire during Butler blaze
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 4:45 AM while crews were battling a two alarm blaze in neighboring Butler Township, Fire District 45 (Girardville Fire) was dispatched to East Ogden Street in the area of the Rangers firehouse for a reported dwelling fire. Chief 45 arrived on the scene and confirmed a working fire. Flames were showing from the rear of a single family dwelling and rapidly spreading up the side of the house. Locustdale abandoned hits second alarm
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 2:30 AM on Wednesday March 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Fire District 4 (Butler Township) to the area of Main Street in Locust Dale for a reported house on fire. First responding units were advised that the caller was reporting a well involved abandoned dwelling. Butler Township Police Unit 51 arrived on scene and confirmed the working fire and found it the be heavily involved in fire.
