Garage burns in Blythe Township
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 4:15 PM on Sunday, February 24 Schuylkill County dispatched Fire Districts 2 (Kaska and Cumbola), 32 (Walker Twp.) and 54 (New Philadelphia) to 1120 Mountain Road at Kuperavage Coal Company in Blythe Township for a reported working commercial garage fire. New Philly Engine 54-11 was the first apparatus on the scene and confirmed the working fire with smoke showing from the building. A crosslay was stretched into the building a fire attack was initiated. Engine 54-12 arrived staged behind 54-11 while Kaska Engine 2-10 secured a supply line from a nearby hydrant. 4 alarm fire with a jumper in Shenandoah, PA
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:20 AM on Saturday February 23, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Shenandoah Fire Department, Shenandoah ALS and Mahanoy City West End Rescue 993 to 38 West Coal Street in Shenandoah for a reported dwelling fire with entrapment. Police and EMS quickly arrived on scene confirming a working fire in the middle of a row. The responders also confirmed entrapment with a female hanging out a third story window. Jeep crashes on Nuremberg Mountain
SCHUYLILL COUNTY, PA – At 4:10 PM on Sunday, February 10, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Nuremberg Fire and EMS with Shenandoah ALS to 573 Mountain Road in North Union Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6402 called responding and was advised of a single vehicle accident involving a Jeep that had rolled multiple times with a female laying along the road complaining of neck pain.
