Bathroom fire quickly doused in the patch

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – After 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 23, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (William Penn, Shenandoah Heights and Altamont) as well as Squrt 745 from Shenandoah to 529 Mount Olive Boulevard in the Lost Creek section of the township for a dwelling fire. Altamont Engine 367 was the first unit responding and was advised of a fire in the bathroom.  William Penn Engine 888 and Chief 889 arrived on the scene and found heavy smoke in the area and confirmed a working fire. Sugarloaf finds large fuel spill after MVA

LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 6:00 PM, Sugarloaf Fire and EMS along with APTS Medic 11 were dispatched to Interstate 81 northbound at the 145.7 mile-marker for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Medic 11G and Sugarloaf Chief 1 responded and advised of a car versus tractor trailer with unknown injuries and fluids down.  Additional calls were being receiving reporting possible entrapment.  11G arrived on the scene and confirmed a car versus tractor trailer with everyone out of the vehicles. Helmet Cam Video: One trapped in Ringtown MVA

SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 3:45 PM on Monday, May 14, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched Ringtown Valley Fire & Rescue, Ringtown Ambulance and Shenandoah ALS to Ringtown Boulevard and Pattersonville Road for a motor vehicle accident with entrapment. Medic 6401 responded and was advised of a two vehicle accident with at least two patients and one entrapped.  Medic 6404 was quickly added to the assignment.  While enroute, aeromedical was requested to be placed on standby.  All flight services declined due to weather. Lower Macungie accident injures two

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – Around 6:30 PM on Tuesday, May 15, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Station 66 (Macungie EMS) to Route 222 and Kressler Road in Lower Macungie Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Medic 6682 responded and was advised that multiple calls were received reporting a multiple vehicle accident at the intersection with at least two people injured.  Cetronia Medic 6291 arrived on the scene shortly after and reported a multiple vehicle accident with one vehicle in a gulley with multiple walking wounded.  EMS Command was established.
