Tow truck moves car in unsual way
LEHIGH COUNTY, PA – At 10:30 PM on Sunday, September 18, Lehigh County 9-1-1 dispatched Stations 22 (Schnecksville) and 67 (Northern Valley EMS) to Sand Spring Road in the area of the Sand Spring Apartments for a reported motor vehicle accident with rescue. Medic 6792 went responding and was advised of a two vehicle accident with an unknown amount of patients and one person trapped. A second ALS unit was requested to respond. Ryan Twp. accident claims life
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Shortly before 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 18, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched units to Church Road and State Road in Ryan Township for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Fire Districts 6 (Delano) and 26 (Ryan Twp.) were due along with Ryan Twp. EMS, Luzerne County Medic 11 (APTS) and Engine 454 (Citizens – Mahanoy City). Responding units were advised of a car versus motorcycle with the motorcycle rider severely injured with a compound leg fracture and was located under the other vehicle. West Hazleton job knocked in minutes
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Around 9:30 PM on Saturday, September 3, Luzerne County 9-1-1 sent out the box to 311 West Green Street in West Hazleton Borough for a reported working dwelling fire with entrapment. The first alarm assignment included Station 24 (West Hazleton), Station 10 (Hazle Township), West Hazleton BLS 583 and APTS Medic 11. Hazle Tower-Ladder 107 and Engine 102 were on the street immediately upon dispatch and were advised of multiple reports a working fire with people possibly trapped inside.
