SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 11:55 PM on Sunday, May 13, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 Transmitted Box 37 for the address of 231 Pierce Street in the City of Pottsville for a reported house fire with entrapment. Responding units were advised of multiple calls reporting a fire with multiple people trapped within. The police department arrived on the scene and confirmed a fully involved single family dwelling. Heights house catches fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – At 10:43 PM on Tuesday, April 9, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the West Mahanoy Township Fire Department (Shenandoah Heights, William Penn and Altamont), the Shenandoah Fire Department for Squrt 745 and Squad 741, Englewood Fire for their Rapid Intervention Team and Shenandoah ALS to 191 Ohio Avenue in the Shenandoah Heights section of the township for a reported house fire. E451 stretches on field fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Late in the afternoon of Saturday, April 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 received calls reporting a large column of black smoke somewhere in the area of the cogeneration plant outside Shenandoah. Forestry units were dispatched to investigate the source and Mahanoy City Engine 451 also went to investigate while returning from a motor vehicle accident. Crews found the source after traveling off-road near Route 339. Engine 451 found a field on fire with tires burning in the field as well. Brandonville brush fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – During the afternoon of Saturday, April 6, Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched District 9 (East Union Twp.) and Shenandoah EMS to the intersection of Green Mountain Road and Trailer Road for a reported brush fire. Chief 9 responded with Utility 9-60 and Tanker 9-30 and found a field on fire as well as debris scattered throughout the backyard of a house. Nuremberg E583 was in the area completing driver training and offered their assistance. Mahanoy City strikes second alarm on rowhome fire
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 2:00 AM on April 6 Schuylkill County 9-1-1 dispatched the Mahanoy City Fire Department, Frackville for their ladder, Mahanoy City EMS and Shenandoah ALS to 329 East Centre Street in Mahanoy City for a reported house fire. First responding units were advised that multiple calls were received for smoke and flames coming from the first floor of a rowhome. Hazleton and West Hazleton battle two blazes within the hour
LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – At 5:24 PM on Monday, April 1 fire crews from West Hazleton, Hazle Twp. and Harwood were dispatched to the area of North Third Street and Green Street in West Hazleton Borough for a reported structure fire. West Hazleton Chief 3 went enroute and was advised that the caller thought they saw a house on fire in that area. LUZERNE COUNTY, PA – Shortly after 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19, Hazleton City Fire and APTS Medic 11 was dispatched to 411 Kiefer Avenue in the city for a reported house on fire. Fire rips through Coal Twp. home
NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – At 8:26 AM on Monday, March 18, 2013 Northumberland County Communications sent out the 150 Box to 516 Webster Street in Coal Township for a dwelling fire. The fire was to be located in the Village of Ranshaw within the Township. Brady Engine 151 was first on the scene and took the A/B corner of a duplex and found a working fire. Girardville home catches fire during Butler blaze
SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, PA – Around 4:45 AM while crews were battling a two alarm blaze in neighboring Butler Township, Fire District 45 (Girardville Fire) was dispatched to East Ogden Street in the area of the Rangers firehouse for a reported dwelling fire.
